Con Dao National Park is home to one of the largest sea turtle nesting populations in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. This remarkable recovery is the result of years of dedicated conservation efforts, including 24/7 patrols by forest rangers on the islands, strict incubation procedures at six hatcheries, and the responsible participation of local communities in protecting the ecosystem, contributing to the sustainable recovery of sea turtle populations.

Con Dao is more than just beautiful beaches. Visitors can also embark on an adventure through Con Dao National Park, explore fascinating trekking routes, visit heritage trees, and learn about rare wildlife species found only here.
Con Dao is home to the Brown Booby colony on Hon Trung, the largest seabird breeding site in Vietnam, which was recognized with a national record in 2024. With its broad wingspan, powerful flight, and sharp eyesight, this magnificent bird is a symbol of a healthy natural environment where nature continues to thrive in its original balance.
