Flower and five- fruit tray arrangement contest for the 238th death anniversary of Mrs. Phi Yen

To improve cultural and spiritual life, and promote solidarity and interaction among officials, civil servants, and members of Trade Union bases in the district, Con Dao district is organizing a flower and five-fruit tray arrangement contest on the occasion of the 238th death anniversary of Mrs Phi Yen. This is a practical activity, creating a healthy and useful playground towards the values ​​of Truthfulness - Compassion - Beauty, and training artistic creativity, promoting emulation movements, and tightening the solidarity, interaction, and learning among trade union members in the district.


The contest took place in a joyful and exciting atmosphere with more than 30 competing teams from Trade union bases, hotels, and women's association branches in 9 residential areas in the district. This year's contest is not only attended by women but also by men, who come from residential areas and armed forces stationed in the district. This is an opportunity for men to show off their flower-arranging talents, and at the same time dedicate fragrant flowers and beautiful fruits as Con Dao people’s hearts to Mrs. Phi Yen.

 

With agility and originality, within 60 minutes of flower arrangement and 60 minutes of fruit tray arrangement, the participating teams have brought special and meaningful works, showcasing many unique flower and fruit arrangement styles. Many of these works have been invested elaborately in flower types, creativity, and artistry.

 

Through flower arrangement and presentation, after intense working hours, the judge selected and awarded the winning works based on the criteria: flower formation, demonstration style, harmonious colors, appropriate ideas, and impressive presentation.
